Painted my WASR-10 Multicam(ish)

This was actually pretty easy. Just primer and lay down a beige base coat. Mask off some multicam splotches. Cross spray some sage, forest green, and brown. Pull off the masking tape and you get this:

Thanks, I realised I didn't add the dark grey splotches so I think I'll try to get some large masks made tomorrow and see how it turns out.

Another technique to add the dark splotches is to cut a sponge to shape, and then dip the sponge in paint, and press/dab it on. How you press and or roll the sponge on the surface will create...

Nice job. I have also found in the past . that if you mask off areas with cotton balls and then spraying it will also leave a "ghost" pattern. That WASR is looking great, how do you like the stock you...

Another way to soften the edges is to lightly steelwool them. An overall very light 'misting' of black or dark gray will soften the effect too.
